Introduction
1.1 The UX & Innovation Conference is organized by DDX, which is part of FastForward Global GmbH. By registering for and/or attending the UX & Innovation Conference, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.Registration and purchasing of tickets
2.1 To register for attendance, you must either purchase your ticket through Eventbrite or by contacting our support team at office@fastforward.global. Your registration is only completed and accepted when you have received a confirmation from Eventbrite.2.2 DDX reserves the right to cancel your registration or ticket in the event of incorrect or incomplete payment, utilization of an invalid discount code, or any other irregularities.
Ticket prices
3.1 DDX reserves the right to change prices for the event at any given time, but changes will not affect tickets already purchased.3.2 Payments must be made by either credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
3.3 If the payment has not been received by DDX within 14 days after the registration date, DDX reserves the right to cancel the registration and refuse admission to the event.
3.4 DDX may offer different discounts on its tickets. However, it is not possible to combine different discounts in a single purchase. In addition, DDX reserves the right to change or withdraw any discount at any time.
3.5 If your registration is rejected, you will receive a booking rejection email and DDX will refund any payments made within a reasonable time from the date of the booking.
Refunds and Cancellation Policy
4.1 Tickets purchased through Eventbrite or the support team can be fully refunded eight weeks prior to the conference. You are not required to provide a reason for canceling your ticket. To initiate the cancellation and refund process for your ticket, you can either cancel and request a refund directly through the Eventbrite platform or contact us at office@fastforward.global. We are available to assist you with the necessary steps to cancel your ticket and process the refund.Event Modifications and Unforeseen Circumstances
5.1 DDX reserves the right to cancel the event in case of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, such as government-imposed restrictions or safety concerns arising from a pandemic. This decision may be made at any time. If you have purchased a ticket for the event, you will be eligible for a refund.5.2 Additionally, in situations beyond DDX’s control, it may be necessary to modify the event's format, content, location, or timing. DDX reserves the right to make such adjustments as required. If the event date and/or the location are changed, you will have the option to receive a full refund for your ticket.
5.3 Unless specifically described in sections 5.1 and 5.2 changes to the event format do not entitle ticket holders to refunds or price reductions.
5.4 DDX will not be held responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by attendees in the event of a relocation, cancellation, postponement, or any other necessary alterations to the event. Attendees are advised to make their own arrangements and take necessary precautions regarding such expenses.
Event Content, Intellectual Property, and Privacy
6.1 DDX holds all rights to the presentations, documentation, and materials provided to conference attendees. Attendees may use the Content for their individual internal business purposes within their organization. But attendees are not allowed to distribute, reproduce, modify, transfer, claim as their own, or use the DDX Content in any other way. This includes uploading the Content to shared systems, and websites, transmitting or making it available to others, or engaging in any commercial use of the Content.6.2 In the event that certain content is made available online, we reserve the right to suspend or remove access to such content at our discretion and without prior notice.
6.3 By registering for or attending the event, you acknowledge that you have carefully reviewed and agreed to our Privacy Policy. Additionally, by registering for or attending the event, you give permission to DDX, event partners, and sponsors to take photographs and record videos during the event. This includes capturing images of the audience and guests. You acknowledge and agree that these materials may be used by DDX, event partners, and sponsors without any restrictions, which may include their use for promotional purposes, marketing materials, or other related purposes.
Miscellaneous
7.1 DDX maintains the right to exclude participants from the event if their behavior is violent, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate. In such cases, no refund for the ticket will be provided.
7.2 In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
